Diana is a former Fidesco volunteer with a strong background in international relations and sustainable development cooperation focused in Europe and Latin America. In 2017, she spent two years volunteering in Colombia as a partnerships and fundraising officer for a Catholic organization supporting youth and the elderly in a disadvantaged neighborhood of Bogotá.
Following this enriching experience, she joined Fidesco’s staff in 2021, convinced that volunteering is a unique opportunity for both personal and professional growth.
As Events and Volunteer Network Coordinator, she contributed to strengthening Fidesco’s alumni network and improving follow-up practices to ensure more meaningful support for returning volunteers. She also promoted volunteering as a transformative experience, particularly among young people.
She later joined the Advocacy, Projects, and Innovation team to raise awareness among French and international institutions about the role of volunteering as a driver of development.
From her volunteer mission, she carries the joy of serving and the strength of fraternity woven through cultural encounters and cooperation projects—a tangible path to peace.
Diana will be speaking on Day 2 of the IVCO 2025 conference, in the breakout session on “Selecting, preparing and supporting volunteers to work in demanding environments “
