Rithyra Liv, a Cambodian national boasts a distinguished career shaped by an interest in economics and international cooperation. He currently holds the position of Country Representative for France Volontaires Cambodge, a role he undertook in April 2023. In this capacity, he is entrusted with formulating and executing the organization’s strategic vision within the country, representing France Volontaires to various national and French authorities, partner organizations, and diverse stakeholders. His responsibilities also encompass overseeing the activities of the Volunteering Space, identifying new multi-stakeholder projects/programs, diversifying funding resources, and monitoring the budget and accounting.
Prior to his current role, Rithyra dedicated almost six years as an Economic Attaché at the French Embassy in Cambodia, from August 2017 to March 2023. This extensive experience was instrumental in honing his analytical skills, particularly in statistics and research paper writing, and led him to develop essential tools for macroeconomic monitoring. His professional journey, marked by working in multinational environments, has cultivated a remarkable flexibility and an ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
