Willoughby Niki Lee Yan Xing

Willoughby Niki Lee Yan Xing is a passionate youth leader and social innovator dedicated to leveraging technology for international development and public good. An active volunteer with Youth Corps Singapore since 2018, he was convocated as a Youth Corps leader in 2023 and is a key member of the youth-led Eldercare Cluster. Niki founded “Seniors Get DigiReady,” an impactful digital creator and innovation programme that has fostered intergenerational bonding and digital confidence, engaging over 800 regular volunteers and impacting thousands of beneficiaries to date. He is the Founder and CEO of TinkerThings Global, a sustainability technology ecosystem builder headquartered in Singapore. Through TinkerThings, Niki extends his practice internationally, creating social impact via digital skilling and entrepreneurship, operating in six countries and positively impacting over 20,000 individuals. His work includes launching regenerative farms and securing grants for technology-enabled farming programmes. Niki is also a Master Trainer for the Microsoft TEACH AI and Google Digital Skills ASEAN Digital Literacy Programme, recognised for impacting over 1100 beneficiaries and leading digital skills policy in Singapore. Niki will be speaking on day 2 of the conference on the potential and limitations of technology to enable volunteering in challenging environments. He will explore how emerging technologies, when thoughtfully implemented, can amplify volunteering as a pathway, fostering long-term engagement and empowering diverse volunteers as effective changemakers
