Forum's Annual Conference of International Volunteer Cooperation Organisations (IVCO)

Strengthening Civil Society in Challenging Times

The International Volunteer Cooperation Organisations (IVCO) Annual Conference is headed by the International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum). Since 2001, it brings together leaders from volunteering agencies, academics, government officials, policymakers and volunteers from around the globe.

The resulting dialogue sheds light on the challenges and opportunities—both longstanding and emerging—facing the volunteering in development sector. It also offers Forum members the chance to learn from one another, exchange ideas and insights, build supportive peer networks, and help shape sectoral policy and advocacy initiatives, all in a thought-provoking space.
