Operations Manager - Forum

Katharine currently serves as Operations Manager at the International Forum for Volunteering in Development (Forum), where she plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency and supporting a global network of members involved in convening, research, and standards. Her efforts are pivotal in optimising and streamlining processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. As one of the co-organisers of the IVCO 2024 Conference, Katharine is focused on leveraging this opportunity to share best practices across organizations, locations, and sectors to drive meaningful impact. Her leadership in this area reflects her dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation. Previously, Katharine served in various roles at VSO, including Strategic Change Consultant, Head of Global IT and Secondee Auditor for Global Programmes. Katharine also served as a non-executive board member and Vice Chair of the Board at NetHope, where she provided governance and guidance to the leadership team. With over 10 years of experience in the volunteering sector and prior leadership in the commercial sector, Katharine brings a wealth of expertise in improving operational effectiveness and driving impact. Katharine holds a Bachelor of Science in European Modern Languages from Aston University in Birmingham and is an accredited Six Sigma Blackbelt.
