After the different breakout sessions, the convivial work will be an opportunity for delegates to reconvene in the plenary room and share learnings and key reflections from Day 1. Facilitated smaller group discussions in the plenary space will continue to foster collaborative reflections from individual, organisational and sectoral lenses.

The questions guiding the exercise will be:

• Understanding the current state and trajectory of civil society globally, and the role of volunteering within it.  

• Strategies to align volunteer programs with broader civil society goals, and ensure that our volunteer programmes are building a stronger civil society. 

• An understanding of how volunteering with our organisations can be a launch pad for lifelong civic engagement, and how volunteer-involving organisations can facilitate this.
