In our globalised world, cross-border connections are becoming increasingly important. At the level of governments, academia, and business, the value of regional and international exchange is already well-established. Volunteer Organisations and civil society organisations are increasingly exploring different models of exchange.

This session will explore how the exchange of personnel between organisations can foster mutual learning, build solidarity, and enhance the collective capacity of our sector.

Participants will discuss the benefits and challenges of national and international exchange and networking, learn from successful exchange experiences, and explore practical steps for building and sustaining partnerships between our organisations. 

Different modalities of breakout sessions have been designed to amplify diverse voices and promote opportunities for delegates to share their experiences in engaging ways during IVCO.
