Diana Ng is Assistant Director with the Community Collaborators team at Youth Corps Singapore, where she champions youth volunteerism and develops strategic partnerships between youth volunteers and community organisations across diverse causes including children, seniors, special needs, and environmental initiatives.
With over 15 years of experience in youth work, Diana was a social worker who previously managed comprehensive youth programmes at a social service agency and worked with families to uplift young people.
During her tenure at Singapore Polytechnic, Diana led multiple student development initiatives, managing co-curricular activities and leading overseas community service trips through service-learning methodologies. This approach enabled students to engage meaningfully with communities whilst developing critical thinking and social responsibility through structured reflection and experiential learning. Her implementation of service-learning frameworks within co-curricular programmes demonstrated how experiential education can serve as a catalyst for both personal growth and meaningful community impact.
In her current role, Diana focuses on creating meaningful volunteer opportunities that bridge generational gaps and foster sustainable community partnerships. She is particularly passionate about developing innovative engagement models that maximise both volunteer satisfaction and community impact. Her work involves designing programmes that not only address immediate community needs but also build long-term organisational capacity whilst developing civic engagement among young people.
