Reylynne Dela Paz is the Advocacy and Campaigns Manager at CIVICUS, a global alliance of civil society organisations and activists. She leads regional advocacy initiatives, the Stand As My Witness Campaign, coordinates the VUKA! Coalition, supports crisis response mechanisms, and represents CIVICUS in global coalitions and working groups.
Rey has over 20 years of experience in human rights and governance in the Philippines, Asia Pacific, and globally. Starting as a student activist and community organiser, she later joined the Transparency and Accountability Network, working on anti-corruption, procurement transparency, and co-leading the Right to Know. Right Now! Coalition for the Freedom of Information Law.
She also served as Advocacy Officer at Save the Children Philippines, advancing laws on children’s rights, including inclusive education and protection in emergencies and armed conflict. At Plan International, she supported over ten Asia Pacific country offices and later, as Global Advocacy Manager, led multi-regional campaigns on children’s rights and gender equality, engaging with the UN and other platforms.
Rey contributed to policy development on anti-rights movements and the rights of children and girls with diverse SOGIESC, and has created advocacy and public finance toolkits. She is also an ultra-runner. Rey will deliver the keynote address at IVCO 2025, opening the conference on Monday, 15 September.
