Amélie currently serves as the VCP Project Manager in Côte d’Ivoire. She has over 20 years of experience in the fields of community development, child protection, humanitarian operations, and international development. She has worked within rural communities, providing support for the development of micro-projects funded to promote their self-reliance.
Several years in child protection have enabled her to acquire skills in managing the implementation of various projects (health, education, and empowerment) for the most vulnerable communities. Having led the management of several offices, she knows how to guide teams, local authorities, and implementing partners to achieve results. With a degree in Marketing and Management, she has also earned several certificates, including one in Humanitarian Leadership from Deakin University and another in the Management of Humanitarian Operations in Emergency Situations. Amélie has been working with EUMC in Côte d’Ivoire for the past two years, where she implements the program’s strategy through partners and with the expertise of volunteers.
