Ellina Kushnir leads Rotary International’s RI Programs and Service portfolio, overseeing the global programs, partnerships, and initiatives that engage members and participants across all stages of life. The team advances Rotary’s strategic priorities by strengthening leadership and skills development, fostering intercultural understanding, building cohesive communities, and delivering high-impact humanitarian service at both local and global levels. The global portfolio includes youth and adult programs, alumni engagement, and cross-sector partnerships. The team works with members and participants across all ages to support sustainable, measurable service, adapt and scale Rotary programs, integrate youth voice into organizational decision making, and expand meaningful engagement opportunities that deepen lifelong connection to Rotary.
Ellina’s leadership is grounded in a people-first, human-centered design approach that prioritizes inclusion, collaboration, and outcomes—ensuring Rotary’s programs and service remains relevant, impactful, and responsive to evolving community priorities. Ellina earned her MBA in social impact from the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility and is based out of Chicago.
