Ingunn Sand is CEO of JM Norway, with over 25 years of experience in developing cultural projects, building organisations, and establishing strong national and international networks within the music and cultural sectors. Ingunn has extensive experience in concert and festival production, touring, exhibition development, and artist coordination across major cultural events. She has also been part of artist collectives exploring the intersection of performance, music, and visual culture, and has worked with arts education and cultural mediation for children and young people. Her broader background spans journalism, broadcasting, and cultural production. She has worked as a music journalist and radio host, and was one of the first female music producers at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). She has served as project manager in the establishment of Rockheim – the Norwegian national museum of popular music – and has been involved in founding key cultural platforms such as Verkstedhallen in Trondheim. Ingunn holds a master’s degree in art, music, and media studies, and has broad board experience from organisations including Oslo Concert Hall, AKKS Norway, and Norwegian Music Council.
