With over two decades of experience in international development and regional cooperation, Mahmudi Yusbi has worked with several international organisations, including the United Nations. His expertise spans strategic planning, programme development, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building, supporting initiatives that advance ASEAN’s development agenda. Mahmudi currently serves as Head of Strategic Planning and Business Development at the ASEAN Foundation, where he leads the Foundation’s strategic growth, partnership development, and resource mobilisation efforts. Since joining the Foundation in 2017, Mahmudi has helped secure a programme portfolio worth more than USD 20 million, significantly expanding the Foundation’s reach and impact across Southeast Asia. He oversees long-term strategic planning and business development, driving initiatives that strengthen organisational sustainability, foster impactful partnerships, and mobilise resources to maximise programme impact. His work supports the ASEAN Foundation’s mission to build a more inclusive, resilient, and people-centred ASEAN.
