Roxanne Boivin is an accomplished and passionate international development project officer with a Master’s degree in International Studies from Laval University, Canada. Her expertise lies in project management and monitoring and evaluation. Throughout her career, she has held diverse roles in international development across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Her work has taken her to several countries, including Senegal, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Zambia, Eswatini, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Currently, Roxanne works with Éducation Internationale on the Programme CLÉ, an eight-year Canadian volunteer cooperation programme that operates in six African countries. Drawing from her own volunteering experiences, Roxanne advocates for the positive impact of volunteering in creating more sustainable and prosperous societies. Roxanne will be presenting on “Volunteering for transformative education: a pathway to inclusive and peaceful societies” in a Pecha-Kucha Session during the IVCO 2024 Conference.
