Terje Kõlamets is Deputy Director of ADICE, where she has been working for over 25 years on the development of European projects focusing on cooperation, international mobility and volunteering. Over the years, she has coordinated numerous European projects whilst developing teaching methods, support tools, training programmes and approaches aimed at improving the quality of volunteering. Her work covers the entire volunteer journey, from pre-departure preparation to post-mobility follow-up, and focuses in particular on mental health, mentoring, the recognition of skills, project impact assessment, inclusion and digital sustainability. The tools she develops are used on a daily basis by ADICE’s teams and volunteers, and are then adapted and shared with international partners as part of cooperation and capacity-building projects. She regularly acts as a trainer for partner organisations in Europe and beyond, sharing her expertise in European project management, educational design, the quality of volunteering and organisational capacity-building
