Veronika Cruz Bodova is working for Habitat for Humanity International as a Senior Volunteer Engagement Specialist focusing on local and international volunteering as well as service learning opportunities for schools and universities across Europe and Middle East. After receiving master’s degree at Charles University in Prague, she worked in organizations like INEX-Association for Voluntary Activities and Business for Society as well as volunteered in social projects in different countries of Europe and Asia. As of 2014, she is working at Habitat for Humanity’s office in Bratislava. During this time, she actively contributed to development of various learning tools for youth volunteers, as well as delivering in-person workshops focusing on SDG’s, Urbanization and Slum upgrading across the region. She is also working with Volunteers coordinators in the Europe and Middle East region to ensure safe, meaningful and sustainable volunteer engagement experience for Habitat for Humanity’s volunteers. To the IVCO conference she brings almost 20 years of experience in various types of volunteer engagement and development of educational activities for youth volunteers.
