Director of Programme Quality and Impact - Cuso International

Yvette has over 20 years of experience in the NGO sector delivering social impact programmes and championing volunteer cooperation. She brings hands-on experience working with Canadian and international organisations, including Oxfam and VSO. In her current role as the Director of Programme Quality and Impact, Yvette is part of Cuso International’s leadership team driving a partner focused strategy to strengthen gender equality and social inclusion, to improve economic resilience through sustainable solutions and to advance climate action. As a champion for inclusive, locally led development, Yvette brings a deep commitment to programming that is centred on learning and collaboration. She has led innovative initiatives to engage excluded and underrepresented audiences in volunteering, including youth, diaspora, and indigenous communities and played a key role in establishing Cuso’s remote volunteering programme. Yvette is reflective of the constantly evolving context of global development and committed to delivering programming that is responsive to those changes. She is passionate about participatory development and dedicated to constructing the conditions to support that. Her experience delivering programmes in over two dozen countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean set a solid foundation for her contributions to impactful and sustainable programming in the communities she serves. Yvette will be one of the speakers during the IVCO Conference plenary.
