A feminist and social justice advocate with over a decade of experience in Civil Society Organizations, Lina focuses on gender equality, women’s rights, socio-economic and climate justice, and peacebuilding.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Since graduating in 2014, she has been actively engaged in volunteer service, supporting grassroots initiatives in education and community empowerment in Southern Cambodia—progressing from a volunteer to a camp leader. In 2015, she joined Cambodian Youth Action (CYA) as a South Regional Program Officer, working on volunteerism projects focused on education, environmental protection, and community development.
In 2018, she served as a Programme Officer in a grassroots organization, working directly with communities, women, and youth to support advocacy and campaigns for access to social services and justice. She facilitated peacebuilding efforts, conducted socio-economic analysis with local communities, and collaborated closely with women farmers and grassroots leaders to promote inclusive policy dialogue and advocate for the rights of small-scale food producers.
Currently, in 2025, she serves in the Civil Peace Service (a professional volunteer program) with the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC), supporting peacebuilding efforts, facilitating working groups, and strengthening peace education capacity among CCC member organizations.
