Lily is a dedicated peace practitioner and educator with over a decade of experience working with civil society organizations and diverse communities across Myanmar and Southeast Asia. She currently serves as Coordinator of the Civil Peace Service professional volunteer program at the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC), where she facilitates strategic collaboration between local partners and international volunteers, promoting relational peacebuilding and conflict-sensitive practices in fragile contexts. Her journey began with community-based volunteerism, from early involvement with volunteering groups in Southeast Asia to leading grassroots education and civic initiatives. These experiences deepened her commitment to inclusive dialogue, local ownership, and transformative peacebuilding. She has extensive experience in designing and implementing training programs on social cohesion and organizational development and has contributed to country strategies through participatory context analysis and partner capacity strengthening across the region. Academically, she holds qualifications in public administration, political science, and community leadership, which underpin her cross-cultural and collaborative approach. She brings a grounded perspective to strengthening volunteering organizations in conflict-affected settings, aiming to foster resilience and meaningful change amid challenges. With a strong belief in the power of volunteerism, she continues to advocate for peace, inclusivity, and sustainable development through people-centred and locally led initiatives.
