This study reports on the results of two surveys of which aimed to explore the experiences of Volunteering Involving Organisations (VIOs) and volunteers with seven International Volunteering and Co-operation Organisations (IVCOs). It addresses three questions about the COVID-19 pandemic: what impact did the pandemic have on VIOs’ programmes; how did they adapt their programmes in response to these changes; what do respondents consider to be the future of volunteering for development?
