Cédric is a Project Manager for Railways infrastructure. His volunteer engagement journey notably consolidated after his first long volunteering experience in 2019 with Fidesco, a Catholic International Solidarity NGO, member of France Volontaires. He spent two years with his family volunteering in Peru, as an English teacher, in a vulnerable neighbourhood of the greater Lima area.
Following this enriching experience, he decided to get involved in volunteering activities in France, such as the reciprocal volunteering program led by Fidesco. From 2023 to 2025, he was in charge of welcoming young volunteers from Africa, helping them understand the new cultural environment they found themselves in. In 2026, together with his wife, he was appointed Country Representative for Fidesco to follow-up the organization’s volunteers sent to Peru. He is also actively involved in the Dorothy Café, in Paris, a welcoming and listening space for vulnerable people. Alongside, Cédric is pursuing studies in philosophy and theology.
Volunteering has deeply reshaped Cédric’s perspective on the world: dedicating time to others—especially those most in need—fosters empathy. For him, meaningful encounters with others are the starting point for any action capable of truly transforming the world.
